Please Note – Returns & Exchanges

Due to a number of factors (speed of Post Office returns/social distancing regulations we are having to implement at our returns center) exchanges and refunds are taking longer than usual.

You can check if your parcel has arrived with us by using your Royal Mail tracking number (ending with GB) 

This is taking up to 15 days currently in some instances.

Returns to any Weird Fish stores

You can return items to any of our 18 stores across the UK. Please take your order confirmation email with you as proof of purchase (note: the dispatch note inside your parcel will not be sufficient for us to issue a refund!). Find your nearest store here.



We hope you love your new clothes, but if something’s not quite right, we have a fuss free returns policy. 

All you need to do is send your purchase back to us within 180 days of receiving it, for an exchange or refund. Returns are FREE for anyone returning items from within the UK, just use the prepaid Royal Mail postage label that comes in your parcel, and take it to your local post office, and request a certificate of posting.

If you have ordered online or over the phone you will have received a delivery note which is also your returns form, please fill this in and return along with your returned items. If you have misplaced your delivery note, please contact us for another copy or visit your online account and print a copy yourself.

If your return parcel exceeds 610mm x 460mm x 460mm, or weighs more than 2kg, please contact us as your free postage label may not be eligible. 

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to cover the costs of any returns from outside the UK.

Please make sure your return is sent back to ourselves in the original packaging with all of the tags and labels included. The garment should not have been washed or worn. 

If you have given us an email address we will send you an email confirmation to let you know that your refund or exchange has been processed.

If you have made a purchase from an independent stockist (eg not the Weird Fish website, Weird Fish Amazon, Weird Fish E-Bay or a Weird Fish store), please refer to this page

exchanges

If you have ordered online or over the phone you will have received a delivery note which is also your returns form, please fill this in and return along with your returned items. For an exchange you will also need to complete the Exchanges Information section fully, and please include new delivery information if your return address differs from the original delivery address.

(Please note, if you write the details of the item you are returning in the Exchange Box, you will receive the same item as originally ordered in exchange)

If you have given us an email address we will send you an email confirmation to let you know that your refund or exchange has been processed.

If your exchange item is not available we will automatically process a refund for you.


Please note: We can only refund or exchange items bought directly from the website or from one of our 19 registered Weird Fish shops with a proof of purchase (this does not include licensed stores). 

Any goods purchased from a Weird Fish stockist, or licensed store, will need to be returned to that retailer who you purchased from

refunds

Card Refunds
If you originally paid directly with a credit or debit card, your refund will be processed back into this card's account. From the point you receive your refund confirmation email it can take between 3-5 working days to clear back into your bank or credit card account.
If the card you originally paid with has since expired, we will automatically refund you via a cheque which will be posted to your invoice account unless otherwise advised.

PayPal Refunds
If you paid through PayPal but used your debit or credit card, your refund will go back into that card's account, this usually takes between 3-5 working days, but can take anywhere up to 30 days.
If you paid using your bank account, or PayPal balance, your refund will come back to your PayPal balance.
Please make sure your PayPal details are kept up to date to avoid any issues.

Amazon Payments Refunds

If you paid through Amazon payment your refund will be returned to the method of payment used, this usually takes between 3-5 working days.

Cheque Refunds
If you originally paid with a cheque we will post a cheque refund to your invoice address unless otherwise advised. You will also receive a cheque refund if your card has expired, you return an item over the 180 day Paypal refund period or you have returned something bought in a store for a refund.

Voucher or Promotional Code Refunds
If you paid for your order using a gift voucher or promotional code we may either offer you an exchange for items for the same value, or issue you a new promotional code that can be redeemed online.

Please Note: If your purchase is from one of our independent stockists or Licensed store, then you will need to take your item back to the store you made the purchase from for a refund
