Returns & Refunds
We hope you are completely happy with your new Weird Fish haul. In the rare event that you aren’t, there’s no need to worry. Luckily for you, our returns policy is FREE and easy-peasy.
How to Return an Item
To start a return you need to have an account with Weird Fish. If you don't have an account please create an account by clicking the 'Account' icon on top left of the website. Create an account ensuring you used the email address you made the purchase with. Create your account and log in.
Once you are signed in select ORDER HISTORY.
Click Return Items within the recently placed orders tab.
Selcted the items you wish to return and add the quantity and reason, click the RED button.
Wait until your QR code pops up on the screen. Take this QR code to your local Post Office. You will also be sent an email containing the QR code.
Please be advised we only accept returns from one of our 28 Official stores – Stockists, concessions and any other 3rd party are not included.
We do accept store returns. If you would like to wait and return to our warehouse, please send us a copy of your proof of purchase receipt (receipt or bank/credit card statement) , postal address and product information. Please note we are not able to process a return without this information. If there is more than one item in the transaction please tell us what you are returning.
Please email us at [email protected] and we will then send a returns form and postage label for the item to be returned to us. Please obtain your proof of postage receipt.
Please make sure your return is sent back to ourselves in the original condition with all of the tags and labels included. The garment should not have been washed or worn.
If you have a Weird Fish item bought from an independent stockist, it must be returned to the original retailer you purchased from as this is where your buying contract lies. This is also the case if you have lost your proof of purchase or the item is faulty, you must deal with the retailer you purchased the item from, do not let them tell you different.
We cannot accept returns for items unless they were purchased from: www.weirdfish.co.uk, Weird Fish Amazon, Weird Fish eBay, or any of the following Weird Fish branches:
Bideford, Braintree, Carmarthen, Castleford, Dartmouth, Falmouth, Gloucester, Keswick, Livingston, Newquay, Portsmouth, Scarborough, Spalding, Street, Weymouth, York.
If you have received a defective item or your item has developed a fault within 12 months of purchase your first port of call is the place you ordered it from.
If you know the order has been bought from www.weirdfish.co.uk and you have the returns form, please create an account and start a return using our online process detailed above 'New Paperless Returns'.
Items not bought from a Weird Fish store or website, will need to be returned to the original retailer or store.

Items can be returned 90 days from purchase for a full refund. If you have gone over this time it is best to contact us to explain, we cannot guarantee a refund for an item if you have gone over the 90 days.
If your item is faulty you have 12 months from the point of purchase to return, but please contact us, or the retailer the product was brought from as soon as a fault occurs. You will also need your proof of purchase.
If you have ordered online or over the phone you will have received a delivery note which is also your returns form, please fill this in and return along with your returned items. For an exchange you will also need to complete the Exchanges Information section fully, and please include new delivery information if your return address differs from the original delivery address.
(Please note, if you write the details of the item you are returning in the Exchange Box, you will receive the same item as originally ordered in exchange)

If you have given us an email address we will send you an email confirmation to let you know that your refund or exchange has been processed.
If your exchange item is not available we will automatically process a refund for you.
Please note: We can only refund or exchange items bought directly from the website or from one of our 19 registered Weird Fish shops with a proof of purchase (this does not include licensed stores).
If you have a Weird Fish item bought from an independent stockist, it must be returned to the original retailer you purchased from in order to get an exchange, as this is where your buying contract lies. This is also the case if you have lost your proof of purchase or the item is faulty, you must deal with the retailer you purchased the item from, do not let them tell you different.
Please Note: Due to a number factors (speed of Post Office returns/social distancing regulations we are having to implement at our returns center) exchanges and refunds are taking longer than usual.
Parcels are then put aside for 48 hours and then go through to processing that can take a further 5-7 days due to social distancing measures we are having to follow and then a further 3-5 days to delivery your parcel.
If you use the free postage label provided please allow 7 working days for this to get back to us, we will then process the exchange within 5 working days of receiving the return.
We then post the item out on the standard delivery which can take up to 7 working days. If you need an exchange quicker than this you can contact us to request an upgraded delivery for an extra £5.50.
If your choice for an exchange was out of stock we would have processed a refund for you instead
If your choice for exchange was out of stock when processing your return we automatically process a refund.
This means we are not holding on to your money unnecessarily, if you would like to order a alternative we will send you a free postage code so you can order in your own time without incurring any further costs.
You can check if your parcel has arrived with us by using your Royal Mail tracking number (ending with GB) This is taking up to 7 days currently in some instances
If you use the free postage label provided please allow 7 working days for this to get back to us. We will then process the refund within 5 working days of receiving the return. This can take longer during busy periods.
For information on how long it takes for funds to be returned to your account please select below your payment method.
If you originally paid directly with a credit or debit card, your refund will be processed back into this cards account. From the point you receive your refund confirmation email it can take between 3-5 working days to clear back into your bank or credit card account.
If the card you originally paid with has since expired, we will automatically refund you via a cheque, which will be posted to your invoice account unless otherwise advised.
If you paid through PayPal but used your debit or credit card, your refund will go back into that cards account. This usually takes between 3-5 working days, but can take anywhere up to 30 days.
If you paid using your bank account, or PayPal balance, your refund will come back to your PayPal balance. Please make sure your PayPal details are kept up to date to avoid any issues.
If you paid through Amazon payment your refund will be returned to the method of payment used, this usually takes between 3-5 working days.
If you paid for your order using a gift voucher or promotional code we may either offer you an exchange for items for the same value, or issue you a new promotional code that can be redeemed online.
