Weird Fish x Anglers Against Pollution

We’re celebrating the launch of our exciting new partnership with Angling Trust and their Anglers Against Pollution campaign. Through our collection of limited-edition T-Shirts, £5 from every sale will go to vital projects across England and Wales, to help protect our waterways.

   What is Anglers Against Pollution?

Anglers Against Pollution is the Angling Trust's campaign to fight for clean rivers, lakes and seas. At the heart and soul of the campaign is a network of over 800 volunteers who have been trained and equipped to carry out regular pollution checks on the rivers and estuaries they fish.

This nationwide water quality monitoring network checks for changes to pollution levels throughout the year so they can fully understand the issues facing the rivers they love. This data is then used to fight local campaigns and identify sources of pollution. All the data they capture is also uploaded to an app, providing Angling Trust with a comprehensive overview of the state of our nation's rivers and estuaries, which is used to lobby for change at government level and to hold polluters to account for the damage they do.

In short, the campaign aims to help protect the ‘weird fish’ we all love, right around the country.
