These are the terms and conditions that govern the relationship between you, the entrant and Weird Fish Limited (the promoter), 15 Miller Court, Severn Drive, Tewkesbury Business Park, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 8DN
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is only open to residents in the UK. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and hold a valid email address.The following people are not eligible to enter the competition:
Employees of Weird Fish, Totally Wild UK, Home Farm Glamping, immediate family members and associated businesses.
Weird Fish assumes that by entering the competition you have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions.
Entries from automated competition entry sites such as Win24, WeWin4U, Prizewise, Prize500 and PrizeDrawCentre are not valid and will be disqualified.

PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion opens on 3rd October 2022 and closes at midnight 8th January 2023.
Entries received before or after the stated dates will be subject to the terms and conditions of our subscriber policy, if you choose to opt in to be contacted by Weird Fish or any of the associated 3rdparties, but may not be entered into the prize draw. Please note you will not be contacted if you have not opted in to hearing from any of the mentioned parties, other than to be notified of the outcome on completion of the competition. Join a Totally Wild UK professional forager to learn the art of foraging and to discover the vast range of wild edibles lying all around us before enjoying a delicious wild food meal.
WHAT TO EXPECT
To begin, we will go through the basics of foraging, how Totally Wild got started and some of the best practices we’ve found along the way.
We will then head out on our walk to discover what exciting wild foods are growing nearby from flowers to fruits, fungi, seaweeds & tubers – there’s plenty to find. We run our courses throughout the year so you can experience the changing habitats and plants through the different seasons.
During the foraging event, your professional forager will introduce you to a vast number of edible species; giving you tips on harvesting, correct identification and possible look-alikes as well as a huge range of cooking ideas.
You will have an opportunity to taste a range of pre-made wild food tasters from syrups, flavoured salts and alcohol infusions.
AFTER OUR FORAGING WALK
We’ll cook up a 3-course lunch utilising wild and foraged ingredients.
In the past we’ve created:
- Wild risotto
- Wild noodle salad
- Wild beans and dips
- Dandelion root coffee pancakes with birch syrup
- Elderflower cheesecake
- Wild eton mess
- Tapenades & pates
These dishes might change with seasonal availability but will always be deliciously wild.
Most of our food is vegan friendly, but if you need something specific please let us know should you have any other dietary requirements (there’s space for this information during the checkout process). Our chefs are well versed in cooking for specific dietary requirements.

Home Farm Glamping Info
Description of the prize:
Home Farm Glamping is a boutique glamping site in the quaint village of Elstree. Just 13 miles from Marble Arch, guests are surprised to find long-grass meadows, rolling hills and secluded lakes at the end of the Jubilee Line! Home Farm Glamping is all about helping hard-working people unplug and reconnect with one another and with nature. We're offering a two night stay in one of our charming bell tents to offer an experience where wellbeing meets wildlife.
Home Farm Glamping Ts&Cs:
- Prize consists of a Two night consecutive stay in one of our bell tents (sleeps up to four guests)
- Dates must be within our 2023 glamping season (April 21st - October 3rd)
- Dates may include weekend but must coincide with the Forage & Cook workshop at Home Farm
- Not applicable on a date where Home Farm Glamping is hosting an At Home Farm music event
- Subject to availability
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable, and there are no cash alternatives. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide the stated prize, we reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. The competition is subject to applicable UK laws.
The winner is responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically detailed in the prize including but not limited to; travel, insurance, extra meals, drinks, and all necessary travel documents. When issued, the accommodation cannot be re-issued or changed in any way.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and there is no cash alternative or alternative prize of equal or greater value.Any costs incurred over and above the basic prize are at the personal cost of the winner.In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize, of equal or greater value, at the promoter’s discretion.The prize is subject to availability and cannot be exchanged.
SELECTION OF WINNER
One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all entries no later than 20th January 2023.The winner will be selected randomly and witnessed. The decision is final and no discussion will be entered into concerning the outcome. The winner will be contacted by the email address supplied.
Weird Fish reserves the right to select an alternative winner in the event that we have reasonable grounds for believing that a winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.The name and home county of the winner will be available for one (1) month after the prize draw takes place by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to Weird Competitions at the stated address.
GENERAL
By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (which may be amended or varied at any time by us with or without notice) and by our decisions which are final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
By entering into this competition you are not giving Weird Fish, Totally Wild UK or Home Farm Glamping permission to contact you for other marketing purposes unless you have opted-in to do so.
