Terms and Conditions of Competition.
These are the terms and conditions that govern the relationship between you, the entrant and Weird Fish Limited (the promoter), 15 Miller Court, Severn Drive, Tewkesbury Business Park, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 8DN
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is only open to residents in the UK. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and hold a valid email address.
The following people are not eligible to enter the competition:
Employees of Weird Fish, Wightcliff Bay, Away Resorts, Wightlink, immediate family members and associated businesses.
Weird Fish assumes that by entering the competition you have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions.
Entries from automated competition entry sites such as Win24, WeWin4U, Prizewise, Prize500 and PrizeDrawCentre are not valid and will be disqualified.
HOW TO ENTER
Entries can only be made online via the competition page http://www.weirdfish.co.uk/wightcliff-bay
To enter the competition you must enter a valid email address plus full name. You must complete all information fields.
Only one entry is allowed per person.
There is no entry fee and no purchase required.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion opens on 5th May 2019 and closes at midnight on 21st July 2019.
Entries received before or after the stated dates will be subject to the terms and conditions of our subscriber policy, if you choose to opt in to be contacted by Weird Fish or any of the associated 3rd parties, but may not be entered into the prize draw. Please note you will not be contacted if you have opted out of hearing from any of the mentioned parties.
PRIZE
There is one (1) prize consisting of a choice of either 3 or 4 night stay for up to 6 people at Wightcliff Bay.
The winner can choose from superior accommodation in a lodge, caravan or chalet depending on availability.
Plus one (1) £150 Wightlink voucher to be used to cover the cost of the ferry travel.
Plus one (1) £200 Weird Fish clothing voucher
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide the stated prize, we reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
Prize is a short break (3 or 4 nights) on the Isle of Wight including a Wightlink customer service voucher to the value of £150, which the winner can use to buy ferry tickets on any Wightlink service, and a short break in off-peak dates in superior accommodation at Away Resorts’ Whitecliff Bay park, sleeping up to 6 people. Winner can choose from lodge, caravan or chalet accomodation depending on selected dates. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferrable and has no cash redemption value. Break must be taken by 31 Dec 2019.
The winner is responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically detailed in the prize including but not limited to; travel outside of the £150 voucher issued by Wightlink, insurance, extra meals, drinks, and all necessary travel documents. When issued, the accommodation cannot be re-issued or changed in any way. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and there is no cash alternative or alternative prize of equal or greater value.
Any costs incurred over and above the basic prize are at the personal cost of the winner.
Any extra costs incurred in the accommodation are to be settled on departure.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize, of equal or greater value, at the promoter’s discretion.
The prize is subject to availability and cannot be exchanged.
SELECTION OF WINNER
One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all entries no later than 30th July 2019
If the winner cannot be contacted after two (2) attempts within three (3) business days of the draw date, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
Weird Fish reserves the right to select an alternative winner in the event that we have reasonable grounds for believing that a winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.
The name and home county of the winner will be available for one (1) month after the prize draw takes place by sending a stamped self addressed envelope to Weird Competitions at the stated address.
GENERAL
By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (which may be amended or varied at any time by us with or without notice) and by our decisions which are final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
By ticking the appropriate opt in boxes you are agreeing for your name, email address and postcode to be shared with Weird Fish, Wightcliff Bay, Away Resorts, Wightlink. If you do not tick any of the appropriate boxes your details will not be shared with any of these 3rd parties.
All changes to the Terms and Conditions will be posted in revised terms and conditions on the website.
We accept no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misaddressed, undelivered, postage due or misdirected entries.
Personal information collected from entrants will be used for contacting you as per our “sign up” T&C’s
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
