Terms and Conditions of Competition.
These are the terms and conditions that govern the relationship between you, the entrant and Weird Fish Limited (the promoter), 15 Miller Court, Severn Drive, Tewkesbury Business Park, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 8DN
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is only open to residents in the UK. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and hold a valid email address.
The following people are not eligible to enter the competition:
Employees of Weird Fish, Trailfinders, Destination BC or immediate family members and associated businesses.
Weird Fish assumes that by entering the competition you have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions.
Entries from automated competition entry sites such as Win24, WeWin4U, Prizewise, Prize500 and PrizeDrawCentre are not valid and will be disqualified.
HOW TO ENTER
Entries can only be made online via the competition page http://www.weirdfish.co.uk/HelloBCcompetition
To enter the competition you must enter a valid email address plus full name . You must complete all information fields.
Only one entry is allowed per person.
There is no entry fee and no purchase required.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion opens on 29th August 2023 until midnight 31st December 2023
Entries received before or after the stated dates will be subject to the terms and conditions of our subscriber policy, if you choose to opt in to be contacted by Weird Fish or any of the associated 3rd parties, but may not be entered into the prize draw. Please note you will not be contacted if you have not opted in to hearing from any of the mentioned parties, other than to be notified of the outcome on completion of the competition.
PRIZE
Winner will receive £5,000 towards a Trailfinders motorhome holiday to British Columbia. https://www.trailfinders.com/
Plus one (1) £500 voucher from Weird Fish clothing, provided in the form of a promotional code which can only be redeemed at www.weirdfish.co.uk
Trailfinders Ts&Cs
1)The £5,000 will be deducted from the winner’s holiday booked through Trailfinders.
2)The entire amount must be used in one transaction as no change can be given.
3)The holiday must include flights from the UK to British Columbia as well as at least 7 nights accommodation in BC.
4)Travel arrangements can only be made through Trailfinders using products officially represented by Trailfinders.
5)The prize winner will be subject to Trailfinders booking conditions, which can be found here: https://www.trailfinders.com/booking-conditions
6)The prize is strictly non-transferable to another person, destinations outside of British Columbia, another trip or redeemable for cash.
7)All travel arrangements are subject to availability.
8)The winner is responsible for organising their own passport and visas. Trailfinders Passport & Visa Service will be able to assist with these arrangements.
9)It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure that they have fully complied with all health and immunisation requirements for the countries that they will be visiting. Trailfinders Travel Clinic is situated at our Kensington High Street Travel Centre in London.
10)Once the prize has been booked Trailfinders will not be liable for any failure to comply with their obligation if caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riot, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, acts of God or any other circumstances amounting to Force Majeure.
11)The prize winner will be contacted by email by the 15th January 2024. The trip must be booked within 1 month of competition end and the trip booked must have all travel completed by 31 Dec 2024.
Weird Fish Voucher Ts&Cs
1)The £500 voucher will be issued in the form of a promotional code, which is only valid to use at www.weirdfish.co.uk
2)The entire voucher amount must be used in one transaction as no change can be given
3)The voucher expiry date will be provided upon the point of issuing, and will be valid for no less than 6 months.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable, and there are no cash alternatives. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide the stated prize, we reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. The competition is subject to applicable UK laws.
The winner is responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically detailed in the prize including but not limited to; travel, insurance, extra meals, drinks, and all necessary travel documents. When issued, the accommodation cannot be re-issued or changed in any way.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and there is no cash alternative or alternative prize of equal or greater value.
Any costs incurred over and above the basic prize are at the personal cost of the winner.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize, of equal or greater value, at the promoter’s discretion.
The prize is subject to availability and cannot be exchanged.

SELECTION OF WINNER
One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all entries no later than 15th January 2024
The winner will be selected randomly and witnessed. The decision is final and no discussion will be entered into concerning the outcome. The winner will be contacted by the email address supplied
Weird Fish reserves the right to select an alternative winner in the event that we have reasonable grounds for believing that a winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.
The name and home county of the winner will be available for one (1) month after the prize draw takes place by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to Weird Competitions at the stated address.
GENERAL
By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (which may be amended or varied at any time by us with or without notice) and by our decisions which are final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
By entering into this competition you are not giving Weird Fish, Trailfinders or Destination BC permission to contact you for other marketing purposes, unless you have opted-in to do so when entering the competition.
All changes to the Terms and Conditions will be posted in revised terms and conditions on the website.
We accept no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misaddressed, undelivered, postage due or misdirected entries.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
