The jacket is fine as an occasional use rain jacket, however it is very thin and would make you sweat if worn without a long sleeve top underneath

I like the jacket and it will be useful in summer rain, but the material is much thinner than I was expecting. It feels more like a pack-a-mac than a proper jacket.
